Overview:
After finally succeeding in isolating Stalingrad-1 Rail Station, the Nail Factory, and other strongpoints just east of Red Square, the Germans paused to regroup and make their final push to the Volga and the main ferry landing. While both sides suffered terrible casualties, the Germans were determined to break through, and with the goal of splitting the 62nd Army in two. In their way stood the stalwart 13th Guards Division and remnants of NKVD militia units.Attacker: German (Infanterie-Regiment 191 and 211, Infanterie-Division 71 with StuG-Abteilung 244 and Pionier-Bataillon 171.)
