Overview:
The initial attack on the Red October Factory complex went moderately well for the Germans. The following day, they resumed the assault with impressive gains to both the north and south of the main Tractor Works Factory. In the north, the 1st Battalion of the 208th Regiment seized Halls 1 and 2 and managed to push all the way to the Volga, although this gain was short-lived. The Soviets, fully understanding the need to hold these positions, reacted with force.Attacker: Russian (117th Guards Regiment, 39th Guards Rifle Division)
