Overview:

As part of Operation Barbarossa, the Romanian 3rd and 4th Armies, along with the German 11th Army were combined into Army Group Antonescu. The only armored unit within the Army Group was the Romanian 1st Armored Division. On July 2, the German XI Korps created a bridgehead across the Prut River. This bridgehead was quickly exploited by the Romanians on July 3 as they crossed the river and broke through the Russian lines. The retreating Soviet 74th and 176th Infantry, along with their armor support, the 2nd Mechanized Corps, fell back to Brinzeni on July 4 and 5, followed by the Romanian 1st Armored. To buy time, elements of the Soviet 2nd Mechanized Corps turned to launch a holding action against the Romanians.
Attacker: Romanian (Elements of the 1st Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Division)

2017-04-14(D) Paolo Cariolato vs Federico Corso Russian winIt's a speedy scenario if your session finish early (we played it twice in under 2 hours), but seriously ASL is not, the lack of acquisition makes you play a different game.
2012-08-11(A) nathan wegener vs Peter W Russian winEverything went wrong for the Romanians.
2011-09-12(D) nathan wegener vs Albert W Russian winTense game. Lots of broken guns. Key to win was when Russian tank picked off hull down command tank. Romanian tanks sprinted for exit but Russian swarm able to stop them. Russians got 3 tanks to exit.
