Overview:

The streets of Paris were rocked with demonstrations in support of the Police Strike and the area between the Constabulary, across from Notre Dame, and the Hotel de Ville became the focal point. The Police occupation of the constabulary became the main point of resistance and the German Command decided to make a show of force using the most intimidating weapon at its command-the PzKwVIE.
