Overview:

The third day of battle saw Panzergrenadier-Division Grossdeutschland push into the village of Syrzewo and establish a hedgehog late in the afternoon. No sooner had this been completed than the Soviets counterattacked to try and destroy this defensive position.

2024-05-28(A) O Ramaille vs Russian winFun scenario ! The Russian attackers were able to gather their forces and mauled the German defenders with kill stacks and hot dices. The German gave ground but began to cause heavy casualties on the Russian attackers. However, they were not able to withstand the Russian firepower who ended with 16 CVP on the last turn.

2023-04-05(D) Martí Cabré vs Pere Cabré Russian winTeaching the game to my 12 yo. I told him to launch Soviet waves against my German defenders, he was at first reluctant to the casualties but then he focused on isolating defenders and killing them for ftr or cc. He ended with the exact 15 CVP on the last turn!
2020-09-08(A) M T vs N.N. Russian winThe Russians had some early trouble due to good German deployment and low defensive fire rolls. They came back with a vengeance on turn 3 however, bagging many German squads with an encirclement maneuver. The very last CVP took some trying though and the game thus went to the final turn.

Really liked the scenario! I played the Russians but didn't take the MMG - next time I will, for I felt that it would have been helpful in breaking the German defenders before crossing open ground.
2020-07-10(A) Kermit Mullins vs Scott Waites German winFun scenario, even the second time around. My Russians struggled early as my opponent's 2's and 3's wrecked havoc on my attack. Game ended in the final Close Combat. I would mess up and break a unit in Advancing Fire, they would rout away and I would be 1 CVP away at the end from victory. 14 points and if I had only not broken that squad...I might have been a contender...
