2022-11-18(A) S. Slunt vs Rich Jenulis German (SS) winThe British were spread out through out the village. The SS were able to get to the village still concealed. The SS tanks came in on GG5/6. one tank when to the top of the village and the other to came at the town head on. The British tanks came on turn 4. The faced coming head on against two Panzer IV or an A5/6. The british were able to continually break or pin the SS as the tried to advance. The 9-2 SS leader kept rallying at least 1 squad a turn to keep the SS in the game. At the start of the British turn 8 the SS had 31 building location (Needed 29) The British were able to get two but all of the rest of the British were pinned preventing an Advance for the win. SS victory but it was close.

2021-02-22(A) Tom Kearney vs Walt McWilliams German (SS) winThe German attack began very well and I was confident that it would be an easy victory. Then, a PIAT scored a turret hit on a hull down MkIV and another MkIV fell victim to close combat reaction fire during an overrun. All of a sudden the game was in the balance. If it weren't for some late game expert marksmanship the game would have been lost. This scenario turned out to be much more fun than originally anticipated. Though the Germans outclass their opponents in every category the victory conditions are very tough.
2021-02-21(D) walter mcwilliams vs Tom Kerney German (SS) winWould never have picked this as SotM as it has nothing interesting to offer. Pretty blase if you ask me. But Tom and I agreed to play. Difficult for both players but the Brit is going to need some luck and will find it much harder to recover from mistakes. Took a pasting early on but managed to make a game of it for awhile with two really big DR but in the end the Germans got the win. I doubt I'll play it again as either side.
