The US Fifth Army finally opened its last offensive of the war in the IV Corps' sector, but only after two delays caused by poor weather conditions. The 85th Regiment was deployed on the left opposite Monte della Spe, in the center the 87th Regiment was to take the small village of Torre Iussi, while one the division's right, the 86th Regiment was assigned the village of Rocca di Roffeno as its objective.

2023-04-17(D) Paolo Cariolato vs Gaetano Girelli German winThis scenario can be used to teach defending and fall back tecniques, or as a teaching tool for an attack. Also rubbles and shellholes placement is a very good teaching tool. You create open killing zones or close them with rubble.
I found the set up process very intriguing, unfortunately as the defender I had one of the most boring experience of my gaming career. As the defender just don't defend up front, fall back and skulk at every opportunity. The American player just don't have the morale to attack your last Alamo,
2021-11-12(A) Pascal Boileau vs Julien Denis German winThe Americans were wiped off the board. Their firepower stayed a dream while I managed broken units during most time of the game...
2021-08-12(D) Michal Sedlacko vs Magnus Rimvall German win[Imported from ROAR]
2021-06-01(D) davide galloni vs Raffaele German win
2021-03-08(D) Jeff B vs Steve Etzelmueller German winA very pedestrian scenario that my opponent absolutely hated. He compared the Americans getting onboard to a beach landing, and I can't really argue that. Rubble/Shellhole placement by both sides is quite important. The Americans need to think about protection; the Germans need to think about LOS. I think it's imperative for the Germans to make getting onboard as rough as possible, and to make any flanking maneuvers difficult, Once the Americans make the stone buildings they will be tough to stop. The Americans conceded in our game at the end of Turn 4 with only 6 stone locations. Meh.
