Overview:
The Mazowiecka Cavalry Brigade established outposts in front of its main line of defense. Several of these were reinforced with armored cars. One such position, near the village of Krzynowloga Mala, was reinforced with 2nd Troop, Armored Car Squadron, 11th Armored Battalion. Many German units met little resistance on 1 September; however, the Third German Army was resisted along most of its front, including Krzynowloga Mala.
