Overview:

Companies D, E and F of the 2nd Rangers Battalion – having scaled the cliffs and accomplished their D-Day goals – were under heavy attack. That night, expected German attacks knocked the Rangers out of their forward positions along the coastal road, the survivors withdrawing at dawn back to the narrow strip along the cliffs with the rest of the Rangers. They eagerly awaited relief. On its way was a force from the 1st Battalion, the 2nd and 5th Rangers, and tanks of the 743rd Tank Battalion.
Attacker: American (2nd & 5th Ranger Btns, 743rd Tank Btn & III/116th Infantry Regt., 29th Infantry Division)
Defender: German (726th & 914th Grenadier Regts., 352nd Infantry Division & II/1260th Coastal Artillery Regt.)

2020-10-22(D) Ross Mulcare vs Tom Raymo German winPlayed using the PF Optional Usage rule [C13.311]. Both agreed that this significantly tilts scenario in favor of the Germans. That being said, the German victory ultimately had little to do with the PFs!
