Overview:
The Soviet 8th Guards Army was advancing west, out if its Oder River bridgehead. As part of this operation, the 11th Tank Corps attacked at 0900 hours, smashing through German troops of Panzergrenadier Division Kurmark at Rathstock and Hathenow. Then crossing Highway 112, waves of t-34/85s and Stalin tanks surged on for two more kilometers across the snow-covered ground before running into Lieutenant General Andrey Vaslov’s contingent of White Russian soldiers. Using panzerfausts and panzerschrecks, supported by Hetzers, they attempted to stop the Soviets.Attacker: Russian (36th Tank Brigade and 50th Guards Heavy Tank Regiment, 11th Tank Corps)
