Overview:

Having secured a firm beachhead along both the northeast and northwest corners of Singapore Island, General Yamashita sent his columns southward into the interior. Located in the west-central part of the island was the village of Bukit Timah, astride a vital crossroads of the main highway leading directly to Singapore Town. Elements of the Australian 8th Infantry Division defended the village. The Australians would need to delay the advancing Japanese for at least a day to give other Commonwealth units time to set up additional defenses further down the road.

2024-10-15(D) Kevin Sanders vs Robert Brown Japanese winTough for the Aus.. Have to balance a collapsing defr with way to keep a building till the end. The Japanese show up in force and with lots of supports (I.e. tanks, a bomber, FT etc etc).
2023-03-05(A) walter mcwilliams vs Tom Kearny Japanese winTom managed a win on the final CC phase. A very fun game.
2023-02-27(D) Tuomo Lukkari vs Victor Rosso Japanese win[Imported from ROAR]
2020-11-25(A) Richard Jenulis vs Greg Rodgers Japanese winAustralians got the balance. It did not matter. The game was over before the aircraft could make an attack. The OBA landed WP in the little village and then proceeded to hit the units in the woods behind it with HE. The tanks cleared the wire and had fun overrunning infantry. A FT took out the HMG. Japanese steamroller with good dice to boot. About the only Australian highlight was a leader killing sniper.
2018-07-30(D) Tom Kearney vs Lindsey Murillo Australian winThe Japanese attack got off to a good start but bogged down toward the mid-game. I was able to extract most of my defenders from exposed forward positions and consolidate in and around the village. Highlights included an escaped prisoner killing the Japanese 10-2 and Japanese OBA killing one of their own tanks.
