SOLITAIRE ASL - Marching east towards Pavlograd, the Wiking Division was ordered to move to the south and help seal off the Melitopol pocket. Scattered resistance and feeble counterattacks to reopen the pocket failed and another large pocket of about 60,000 Soviet soldiers surrendered.
