Overview:
Lieutenant John Orlando, commander of 3rd Platoon, Company A, 643rd Tank Destroyer positioned his four anti-tank guns just north of Baraque De Fraiture during the evening hours of the 22nd. Behind a bend in the N-15 highway, the men of 3rd Platoon found it difficult to dig foxholes and emplacements due to the frozen earth.
