Overview:

Operation Compass, the codename for Wavell’s offensive against Italian-held Libya, was kicked off with several assaults on Italian frontier camps. These fortified camps were built to cover the approaches to the coastal road which the British advance would need. On the night of 7-8 December, under the veil of strict secrecy and low cloud cover, the British were able to gain their way into assault positions without being detected by the Italians. At 0500 on the 9th, a detached battalion of the 4th Indian Division fired on Camp Nibeiwa’s eastern perimeter in order to confuse the defenders as to the direction of the attack. At 0715 hours, British divisional artillery shelled Nibeiwa in a brief but intense bombardment.
Attacker: British (1/6th Rajputana Rifles and 2nd Cameron Highlanders of the 4th Indian Division, and of the 7th Royal Tank Regiment)
Defender: Italian (Gruppo Maletti/Armor Support Group/Artillery Support Group)

Errata (source)
I could not find errata for this scenario, but it needs some. There is no set up corrdinate for overlay D6, yet the Italian armour may set up in it.
Set up coordinate for D6 is 29O7-29O8.

2020-12-10(D) Richard Jenulis vs Brent Morris Italian winBritish conceded top of turn 6. Three Italian AFV's broke through the British lines and caused havoc from the rear. The British infantry was pretty torn up and scattered. The dust was the Italian's best friend in this scenario frustrating the British shots by one pip over what was needed.
2020-05-04(A) Shane Pask vs British winStarted well with pregame bombardment taking out 2 guns. Then the Italians surprised me turn 1 by attacking westward toward my infantry. They stayed in motion to make it harder to hit and it took me until turn 6 to kill the last one. By then the 2 tanks hunting them were too far from the trenches to help and the armour leader was immobile due to mechanical reliability fail. Only made it because the Italians couldn't hit the side of a barn and both MMG broke on the same turn.
2020-01-19(A) Jeff B vs Roy Connelly Italian win6.75 hrsHeavy winds started Turn 2. That meant no smoke or vehicle dust for my infantry to use as cover. That meant my infantry had to cross 3/4 board of open ground just to reach the first Italian unit. My tanks had no problem wiping the Italian AFVs off the map by the middle of Turn 5, so they would be able to provide some cover, but it was just too slow going for my troops. Somehow it still came down to a bunch of last turn CCs, but when the Italians survived two of them and my subsequent DFPh they held out for the win.
2007-04-07(D) Bill Brodie vs Murray McCloskey Italian winIt would appear that this game is in serious need for errata.
