Overview:
In April 1952, the lies in Korea had been stabilized across the peninsula for several months. Both forces had used the time to establish extensive defensive lines, The U.S. 1st Marine Division held the UN line on the west side of the peninsula; the attached Korean 1st Marine Corps (KMC) Regiment was positioned on the very left of Seoul. The KMC had been assigned to the 1st U.S. Marine Division for over a year and had been training intensively and operating with the U.S. Marines fo eight months. While maintaining security along the UN main line of resistance, the KMC conducted active patrolling of Chinese positions across the Imjin and Sochon Rivers.Attacker: South Korean (10th Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Korean Marine Corps Regiment)
