2024-01-10(D) Andy Bagley vs Neil Brunger German winLots to learn in this one: night as well as some of the new Orsogna rules which apply, so we both ended up with a headache by the end! The New Zealanders have a fair amount of time, but very limited entry area, so progress was inevitably slow. My plan was to defend the eastern buildings just lightly and make a stand around the three central victory buildings (as well as holding to two on the western side) and this pretty much worked, though helped by some good DRs at the right time to inflict NZ casualties. NVR dropped to 1 hex towards the end, but I was helped by a blazing NZ Sherman, which illuminated what would otherwise have been a good approach route for them. The New Zealanders just ran out of time and troops in the end.
