Overview:

With Operation Epson is full swing and after taking Cheux, the British continued their advance with the objective of crossing the Odon River. But first they had to seize Grainville. Between Cheux and Grainville was the Salbey Valley. The German 12th SS Panzer Division “Hitler Jugend” was tasked with defending this area. An advance of the Highland Light Infantry, supported by tanks of the 7th Royal Tank Regiment would spearhead the assault through the Salbey Valley. Lying in wait at the Ruisseau de Sabley were the four Panzer MKIV’s of 8th Kompanie II/12th SS Panzer Regiment commanded by Obersturmfuehrer Hans Siegel. Remnants of the II/26th Panzergrenadier Regiment provided support.

2020-06-13(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German (SS) winWell...Dan Best and I played this one and I got waxed with every Churchill and Sherman destroyed. Dan used bore sighting to annihilate me. I neglected to SS that as N.A. and sure should have done so. The British infantry didn't too badly until Dan rolled snakes and wiped 2 squads off the map. So with only 4 squads and no tanks...it was game over and a German win.
