Overview:

After the initial crossings of the Meuse, Panzer-Division 7 began to expand the bridgehead west of the river. Darkness approached, and Rommel ordered a company to begin scaling the cliffs and move through the woods surrounding the Chateau de Meez. This began the battle for control of the Chateau de Meez and the remaining farm buildings.

2024-01-24(A) Kevin Duval vs Dwayne Duval German winTook until turn 4 to clear the Roadblock, but had everyone in position to push up the hill into Woods. Wasn't clear until until end of Turn 8 that the Germans had pushed enough through to the VC.

2023-08-01(A) David Ramsey vs Martin Barker French win

(VASL Log)
As featured on IR91. Slow progress by the Germans held up the attack that was well defended by the french.
2021-03-20(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German winIt took my Germans about 3 turns to get past the road block and then move up. One of tanks was recalled due to a MALF'd gun that rolled a repair roll of 6. The other two tanks managed to successfully trail break to attack the chateau. I attacked from three directions and managed to close in on Dan at the chateau. By turn 6, Dan had launched a last desperate counter-attack with two close combat attempts. They went in favor of the Germans. Then in Turn 7, the last good order French squad broke and with the Germans ready to completely surround the chateau, Dan gave the concession for a German win. Good scenario to get your feet wet with Dinant.
