Overview:
The CPVA frontwide attack on the night of 11 February completely cut off the 23rd Regimental Combat Team at Chipyong-ni. The Chinese initially bypassed and ignored the town. However, as night fell on the 13th, the CVPA attacked Chipyong-ni fiercely with five divisions from all directions. The French held against the attacks on its sector, with some help from roaming AAA SPs. When daylight broke on the 14th, the latest CPVA wave was close to the French perimeter and closing in. The French then suddenly come out of their foxholes and charged with bayonets!Attacker: Communist Chinese (CPVA) (CPVA 126th Division and 120th Division)
