Clarification: The Italian Player may use 8 dummy counters for his on-board setup. The reinforcing Italians do NOT add to this number, as they receive their own Cloaking counters (including possible Dummies).

The scenario actually takes place in 1941 (as the Italians didn't join the war until mid-1940). Historical accuracy aside, this scenario relies on something that I've never found compelling, the fact that the defender can't act until acted upon. There may be a circumstance where it matters, but in our game it was more of a bore for the defenders to have to live through. The combat felt balanced, with the true decider in our game being the unfavorable IFT die rolls for Rootin'.
Considering the rarity of this scenario pack, I did appreciate this first foray into it and look forward to more.

No starshells and lax British makes for a lot of straying. Brits had two HMG. Italians had all LMG. Perhaps 1 MMG would have been useful. British won with one turn to spare.
