Captain Triquet and what was left of his company, along with three Ontario tanks, and Royal Canadian Horse Artillery's FOO, Lieutenant McDonald gathered about the stone manor house of Casa Berardi ready to receive the Fallschirmjägers attack. The French-Canadians did not have to wait long. The Germans launched piecemeal attacks from the north, east, and out of the gully to the south.Attacker: German (3rd Fallschirmjäger Regiment)

The British OBA fell down with very moderate success. The panzers arrived and the first was set aflame by a CH from a Sherman. The second panzer was encircled by the three Shermans but with a glimpse helped by ROF and intensive fire destroyed them all. He was finally destroyed by a CH from a PIAT. Without armor support, the British defense crumbled and collapsed completely. A German victory. | |||

Because German attack was not coordinated, your four groups come on map in a sequence and location you dont control as the attacker. I was lucky to get the panzers on board in turn 1 and immediately assert armor superiority and corner the canadian squads. The canadian OBA is deadly with nowhere to hide for the germans so dont expect your infantry to get fast on the objective. |
