Overview:
The Poles formed several ad hoc formations to resist the Soviet invasion. Operation Group Dubno was initially formed to resist the Germans, but would find themselves instead fighting the Russians. An armored unit, named Company Jakubowicz, was formed on 14 September and assigned to the Dubno Group. It contained Renault tanks from the 21st Light Tank battalion and three Hotchkiss tanks. The Soviet Ukrainian Front advanced into southeastern Poland, and Group Dubno went into action, providing the invaders an Iron Greeting.Attacker: Polish (Elements Operational Group Dubno)
