2017-05-27 | (D) Gordon Jupp | vs | Nick Holmshaw | German win | Wow, I found this one tough as the Russians, although it sounds good being able to HIP four T34-85's the fact that the 10 German tanks all have frontal armour that the Russians can't penetrate is a major headache! Nick played really well and tried hard to ensure that I didn't get any flank shots and early on his bounding fire shots did for 3 of my tanks and I thought it was game over by T3! But the Russians rallied a little, a couple of Panthers went down and I managed to DI three of the King Tigers. The game went down to the last CC with the Germans coming out on top. Really made me think and I would like to play again trying different tactics! | ||
