With both the central and western defensive positions stopping the initial two waves cold - through a combination of A-T mines, HIP Shrek teams, and Boresighted Tiger shots - the entire Soviet advance was forced to cut through the heavy woods of Board 5 into the jaws of the waiting German forces with the combination of blowing Smoke from the burning wrecks and tight quarters of the forests held to give the better German gunnery the advantage as forces broke into the open ground.

2020-07-01(A) Tom Kearney vs Alan Saltzman Russian winThe Soviets took some time and casualties penetrating a forward defensive belt but caused significant casualties on the Germans. During the 2nd segment the King Tiger received the attention of multiple 122mm guns and was destroyed. After a Tiger I disabled its MA and another Tiger I was destroyed the German conceded. I recommend that the German get the balance.
