Overview:

US infantry, with the help of a tank platoon of Shermans, attempted to clear out a few troublesome panzers which had established themselves in the village of Reuler. As they entered the village, the leading tank was fired on by a German halftrack camouflaged as an ambulance. Then five German tanks opened fire from the opposite side of town. The Duel at Reuler was on. . .

2023-08-06(A) Ron Garcia vs Darryl M. American winAll AFV scenarios, or in this case, almost all AFV's, are inherently dicey. Roll low, you win; roll high, you lose. I suppose you could say this about any scenario, but there isn't the subtlety of a combined arms scenario. In this one, I got off more shots than my friend, but rolled poorly on the To Hit or To Kill rolls. Still I got three tanks. But, my friend's rolls were good enough to knock out all my tanks for the game. I think the scenario is balanced in that it's really up to chance, but I'm not a big fan of these types of games.
