Overview:

FB14 is the first “official” three-player scenarios. One player plays the Germans, and the second player plays the Soviets. However, the third player plays the Hungarians that are fighting along BOTH sides. The scenario thus has four player turns (German, Soviet, German-allied Hungarian, Soviet-allied Hungarian) for each game turn, though two player turns are in fact done by one person.
Attacker: Russian / Hungarian (297th Rifle Division and 3rd Tank Brigade, 23rd Tank Corps and Buda Volunteer Regiment)
Defender: German (SS) / Hungarian (Vannay) (SS-Kavallerie-Regiment 15, SS-Kavallerie-Division 8 "Florian Geyer" and Hungarian Heavy Machinegun Platoon, Vannay Battalion and Budapest Watch Battalion)

2025-01-24(A) A Fifteen vs Steve Dedier German (SS) / Hungarian (Vannay) winDave Reenstra was the Russians.
2025-01-23(D) Stephen dedier vs Barnes, Reenstra German (SS) / Hungarian (Vannay) winAs the Germans my strategy was to position enough forces to hold off the Russians but to bottle up the Hungarians and not let them gain the flank and get into close combat with their brethren. The goal being to hold my 3 buildings as long as possible and gain CC points against the incoming Hungarians. The Russians were going to have to take the Postal Palace and i was counting on a lot of energy being used up there.

My forces did better than expected against the Russians holding onto all 3 until turn 4 and managing a key CC victory gaining 4 points. I committed all my reinforcements to fighting the incoming Hungarians and it was brutal but again i got a key CC victory getting 4 CC points and turning the tide against the incoming forces. I hit the CC victory point cap in turn 5 after getting in position on turn 4.

2020-05-25(A) Gordon Jupp vs Derek Cox & Martin Barker Russian / Hungarian winAnother cracking playing of this scenario, I was Hungarian (again!) Managed to hold the Post Office for 2 turns and then on T4 got the Hungarians engaged against each other, eventually on T5 reached the CC CVP level to take the game :)
2018-11-10(D) Gordon Jupp vs Nick Holmshaw & Jeremy Shields Russian / Hungarian win
