Overview:

On 12 April, 1940, Batteri 5 engaged the Germans at Fossum Bridge. As the enemy pushed across the river, the batteri first displaced to Tommeras on the 13th and eventually to Gislingrud. After arriving in Gislingrud, the batteri reported ready to fire at 1500, although there was no contact with the radio equipped spotter. Aircraft from Fliegerkorps X attacked the batteri and were in turn engaged by the AAMGs assigned to provide air defense.
