Overview:

The German assault to capture Stonne was slowly developing into a wide encircling movement as the elite Gross Deutschland Regiment, assisted by elements of the 10th Panzer Division, were now coming from both the east and the west in large numbers. The defenders and the last surviving AT guns were ordered to join the second line of resistance.
Attacker: German (4th Company, II Battalion, Panzer Regiment 8, 10th Panzer Division and Infantry Regiment, Gross Deutschland)
Defender: French (6/GRDI and 67th Regiment, 3rd DIM)

2015-02-11(A) fabrizio da pra vs Ugo Bartolucci German winMy opponent setup in the foxhole line with the two guns close to the lvl7 hill, one next to the other.
He tried to get on the lvl7 hill during his first movement phase but my PzIV managed to double break one squad for 1CVP.
So I was in the lead for the CVP victory condition.
Inplaced smoke in the small gap between the hills and tried to get across the open ground covered by smoke but with deadly fire from the guns I lost a tank (first shoot and only one possible 5TH and 5TK) and broke two squads to 25LL AP shots.

On his turn the French stayed in the foxholes and was just shooting.
In my second third turn I was able to outflak the French position with the last tank and 2 squads and from there interdicted to roud of a couple of squads while staying out of los from the guns and got back i nthe lead in CVP.

In the last turn I had lost a tank and a squad to 5 or 6 of his, he tried a desperate assault on the forces on the hill but was repulsed.

A nice scenario, with more dept of what it seems at first sight and with at least three possible strategy for the French to try so good replayability.
