Overview:
Dubrovka and Tigoda: these two villages were one of the Spanish objectives in order to strengthen their beachhead around the Volkhov River. Osés Battalion from 269th Infantry Regiment would hit Dubrovka, while Suarez Rosello’s would fall on Tigoda. After a fifteen minute artillery barrage, Major Osés led off. First Company of Mobile Reserve 250 formed the vanguard in the fields between the river and the road.Attacker: Spanish Blue (Elements of 2a Cia de Zapadores and 3a Cia, II.
