Overview:

Throughout the grueling month of October, determined and costly German assaults had steadily shrunk the Soviet defensive perimeter. By October 24, Panzer Division 14 had reached “Bread Factory #2” just to the south of the Barikady and commenced its assault the next day, only to be rebuffed by the fierce defensive fire of the 138th Rifle Division. The remnants of Motorcycle Battalion 64 were crouched in the ruins opposite the Bread Factory, slain and wounded leaders scattered about them. There seemed to be no way across the deadly street, but Sgt. Esser could no longer stand the tension. Screaming “Forward!” he led his twelve men out into the road and into the adjacent building.

2025-05-23(A) Mark Peak vs Dan Leader German winDan placed his AT gun back in the second row of buildings. My Germans got nowhere up North, but I was able to easily get into the middle/south buildings. His gun was good, but after a few turns, I was able to overwhelm it and cut off his reinforcements. After that, my firepower was enough to break the Bread Factory and he conceded.

2025-04-24(A) Mark Peak vs Phil Kuchinsky Russian winI struggled with the Germans to make it across the road. Lost a ton of squads and a leader and then struggled to get broken squads back into battle. I was successful in taking the building finally and holding off Russian reinforcements but only had a squad and a half left to defend two locations and made a crucial mistake to Final Protective Fire which broke my full squad.
2024-12-01(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German win1.5 hrsDicey game as nearly all SK scenarios tend to be. German 9-2 ruled the battlefield and once the Germans had control of P2 and P3, they never let go. Russians had to concede on Turn 5.
