Overview:

In the battle for southern Manila, 148th Infantry Regiment was to clear the industrial districts of Pasig and Paco. Intelligence estimates indicated the area to be lightly defended. In reality, the Japanese 1st Naval Battalion had established a strongpoint at the Paco Railroad Station. While making a frontal assault across an open field, Private Cleto Rodriguez’s platoon was halted 100 yards from the station by intense enemy fire. On his own initiative, he left the platoon, accompanied by PFC John Reese and continued forward to a house 60 yards from the objective. . .

2020-05-05(A) Rob MacGinley vs Ian Willey Japanese winI liked this for the IJA can really show how to slow down a larger attacker - put all your HIP assets in the VC building and then make it impossible for him to clear out all the rats hidden away!
2016-01-24(A) Jason Wert vs Gabe Wert Japanese winVery cool scenario. Looks imbalanced at first, but if IJA play a mix of aggression and defense, they make the US life very difficult. Just lost a few too many to counter CC's to get into the building in force.
