Overview:
The German XXXIX Motorized Corps attacked northeastward towards Mga with the intention of sealing off Leningrad from the rest of the Soviet Union. The Germans captured the key city on the 29th but the Russians immediately counterattacked with remnants of the 48th Army and an NKVD Rifle Division. The Russians recaptured Mga on the 30th but the Germans moved against the city again on the 31st. . . .This is a very meaty scenario. 44 German squads, OBA, halftracks and assault guns attack on boards 40, 49, 42, 24, 22 and 23. The Russians defend with 42 squads and several guns. The victory conditions are interesting with each side attempting to control the riverbank.Attacker: German (Elements 8th Panzer Division)
