Overview:

It was the task of the 300th Regiment, Frontier Guards (a fortress unit) to defend from the enemy the single most important non-munitions item in the Western Desert -- water. The Bardia waterworks possessed the means to pump, process and distribute a large quantity of the precious liquid. Despite it strategic importance, morale plummeted among the defenders of Bardia the moment it was threatened.

2026-10-10(D) Jobbo Fett vs JobboFett Italian winSo long as the Artillery doesn't hit its mark, on the second fire mission, the Allied troops don't have the means to break from the column movement and you're stuck slowly crawling your way to the waterworks. The Italians managed to give the Brits and Aussies a bloody nose once they finally did start threatening the objective, but the back-and-forth trades benefitted the Italians more, and they were able to maintain control of the buildings by the end of the scenario.

It should also be said that the instructions to build this scenario are incorrect and/or incomplete. Several buildings are called to span several hexes despite being single-hex overlays, the roads are convoluted in how they are written down and you'll probably have to take some liberties when building it.
