Overview:
For several days the forces of the French resistance of Paris have launched strikes and eventually committed themselves by seizing several key buildings by the force of their few weapons. These courageous actions were inspired by the approaching Allies armies but they were undoubtedly far too premature given the available power of the German troops in France's capital city. It was only the surprise and Von Cholditz' hesitations amidst the confusion that saved civilians being crushed. However, when General Leclerc, commander of the 2nd Free French Armored Division, learned of the insurrection, he decided instantly to intervene despite the initial American decision to bypass Paris. The order to seize Paris suddenly sounded like magic for the units of the 2nd D.B. The men threw their machines in a bold race to overrun the inevitable German defenses. . . . **German secretly splits force between two possible play areas; French picks which area to play on and gets 40 counters (Situation 1) or 30 counters (Situation 2).**Attacker: Free French (Groupemeet Tactique Langlade (GTL), 2e Division Blindée)
