Overview:

For almost three months the German 1st Mountain and the Russian 318th Mountain Rifle divisions were locked together in combat on the slopes of Mount Elbrus. February 6th was a typical day, as simultaneous attacks on two ridges separated by a shallow valley were launched under gray skies.

2020-06-13(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best German winDan Best had the Russians and I the Germans. I got to go first and proceeded to inflict grievous losses on Dan's Russians. By the end of Turn 1, it was over and the Russians conceded. Losses and MALF'd guns were so much that the Russians were doomed. Hard to concede so early, but the scenario does seem to make that a potential risk if both players set up in each other's grills as we did. Not a scenario I play again and hard to recommend as well.
