Overview:

The Germans were defending Hill 107, a key piece of terrain that denied the Allies a direct route into Tunis. After numerous attacks, the Germans still held the northern ridgeline and the Cactus Farm area on 29 April. The 12th Brigade of the British 4th Armored Division was given the order to clear the area, and its commander assigned the 2nd Royal Fusiliers to the task. The Fusiliers were fresh from their first taste of combat on 24 April, when they had been handily defeated. At 0600 on the morning of 29 April, the Fusiliers attacked, supported by Churchills from the 12th Royal Tank Regiment.
Attacker: British (2nd Royal Fusiliers, 4th Infantry Division and 12th Royal Tank Regiment)

2025-05-30(D) Eben Johnson vs Paul Lauger British winTrue to form, broke my AT on its first TH attempt, and firing at its BS'd hex to boot; broke my second 228 on a MC after only one TH attempt; suffered four CHs/aces (one of which destroyed my AA gun); his smoke was successful in 9 out of 12 attempts; and I never rallied a squad (one was my fault). By the end of turn two of seven, there was nothing of significance I could do: he still had four turns in which he could surround me with all nine of his tanks and pound away.

I should have placed my AT gun more out of the way, but having a easy shot on my BS'd hex sitting on top of an anti-tank-mine trail-break hex was too good a shot, until I broke my gun. Ha.

Be aware, cactus hedges are mean things!
2024-09-20(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Sergio Puente British win[Imported from ROAR]
2024-03-31(A) Pascal Boileau vs Prod'homme Pierre German winA good scenario despite that I conceded 2 turns before the end. Most of my AFVs were wrecked and most of my infantry was broken after 4 turns. To be the attacker in this scenario required some tactical skills that I was totally deprived before our game. Lesson learned, thanks Pierre !
2023-04-08(A) Vic Lauterbach vs JM German winSometimes losing is a blast! I spent too much time and effort taking the hill so my attack on the farm developed late. Jim's 8 ML squads in stone buildings proved tough to break. The FB managed only a pin. The OBA stopped my attack on M9 leaving O7 and O10 out of reach. Good scenario well played. Jim: The Pak41s shocked/killed one Churchill and immobilized two, but the attack kept grinding forward with bow-mounted 75s pounding my positions until the OBA saved the day. This one is tense for both sides.
2022-02-17(A) Shane Pask vs German winTotally botched my tactics. Did well on the hill but called it after turn 4 when my infantry still had to cross 2 cactus hedges and were all bunched up right where the artillery was about to land. Lost 2 tanks to shock and 1 to CH. Way too cautious (and slow) with my infantry. Can infantry ride tanks over cactus hedges?
