Overview:

The North Koreans were crossing the Kum river everywhere in front of the U.S. 19th Infantry Regiment, a unit nicknamed ‘The Rock of Chickamauga’ from it’s history in the U.S. Civil War. As early as 0630, Colonel Winstead reported that his command post and Mortar Company were under attack, and that the center of his battalion was falling back. The enemy made deep penetrations, overrunning part of A and B Companies, then continued south across the paddies, seizing the high ground at Kadong-ni. This incursion had to be thrown back if the 19th was to hold position.
Attacker: American (1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment and 26th AA Artillery Battalion with A Company, 78th Heavy Tank Battalion)

2023-08-24(A) Indy Lagu vs Rob Oler American winRob found this one a bit frustrating. His 7 NK squads
have to survive the onslaught of 15 American 1st and
2nd liners. On turns 2 and 3, respectively, 7 and 5 NK
squads arrive. They have to rush to the victory areas.

My americans got there first, and Rob conceded with one
movement phase left.

He thinks he set up too far forward "I always do,” he
said at the end. Perhaps he did...once the NK break,
it is not too difficult to surround them. At the end I
had taken 5.5 squads and one leader prisoner.

The US was not too hampered by having low ammo.
I think this one is tough on the NK. The balance (allowing
the NK to create one Suicide Hero) might be needed,
as the US M24 is quite invulnerable.
