Overview:

Emperor Haile Selassie realized that a decisive battle was needed to reverse the fortunes of his empire. Near his new headquarters at Quoram, he gathered the remnants of his defeated armies and the yet unbloodied Imperial Guard. The Emperor hoped to launch an attack quickly across the valley to the Italian encampment at Mai Ceu. The attack, however, was delayed by a week due to squabbling among his chiefs. The Italians used the delay to fortify their positions. Low stone walls and sturdy thorn Zeriba hedges were erected and trenches dug. When the attack finally launched at 5:45 on the morning of 31 March, the Italians were ready.

2023-01-11(D) Richard Jenulis vs Brent Morris Eritrean winEritrean Harassing Fire OBA was devastating. Coming down early and often, it devastated the Ethiopians. The Eritreans only lost three Half-Squads and one Crew, all to being forced to rough out of Ethiopian OBA. The game ended on Ethiopian turn 5 with no EVP scored. A bad day for Haile Selassie.
2022-07-29(A) Dan Best vs Jeff DeYoung Ethiopian winPick up game at St. Louis ASL Tournament 2022.
2022-07-02(D) Jobbo Fett vs Gary Bartlett Eritrean winA thoroughly rough go for the Ethiopians advancing on prepared Italian defenses. My guns actually maintained rate a few times and didn't break immediately, chewing up Gary's left ruthlessly. None of my bore sight hexes came into play, sadly, but the open ground made it a crapshoot regardless. Both of us neglected are artillery early on, and in most cases it was surprisingly ineffective. Shout out to Gary's dice netting him 3 or 4 heat of battles, two of which converted into Heroes. Both snipers were fairly active as well!
2022-05-22(A) neal ekengren vs solo Eritrean winOne of the better Nagus scenarios. Ethiopians have to really move to make their exit objective but they have a hoard. Some OBA, hills, and terrain make this interesting for setup and playability. Definitely Italian/Eritrean favored. Don't forget to use all the Eritrean/Ethiopian Nationality distinctions.
2022-05-06(A) Shane Pask vs Ethiopian winFairly easy win for the Ethiopians. Finished with 24 EVP.
