Overview:
By the end of June 1940, the garrison of Fort Harrington had received reliable reports that Italian reinforcements were entering the twin town of Moyale at the Abyssinian border. These included three Eritrean colonial battalions, a brigade of pack artillery, and more than 20 armored vehicles. Given its strategic location, the British General Staff had no intention to surrender Moyale without a fight. African soldiers on both sides were destined to fight and die for their colonial masters in this desolate place.Attacker: Italian (II, XVII, LIX, and LX Battaglioni Fanteria Coloniale, IX Brigata Coloniale, Africa Orientale Italiana)
