Overview:

When the weary Finnish troops took up positions in the Mannerheim Line, with the Soviets right on their heels, the defense ran into trouble right away. After a week of battle, the Soviets managed to breach the line in several places, including at the Honkaniemi railway station. The Finns counterattacked, committing the only combat-ready armor unit of the entire army, the 4th Tank Company of the Armored Battalion, together with three infantry battalions.

2023-05-08(A) Shane Pask vs Finnish winStarted well with the 120 OBA killing a commissar, 4-5-8 and MMG and rubbling V2. The plan was to lead with the Vickersi and take out the tanks before the crews could get to them but 4 Vickersi malfed their MA by turn 2 (the last one was already KO). By turn 4, all Vickersi were destroyed. The Russians had 2 AFV remaining but both were useless - one was uncrewed (and the Finns could still not destroy it in CC) and the other disabled its MA, had no MG and immobilised by mechanical breakdown when it attempted to recall. Finns had passed their VP target and Russians were in no position to counterattack.This one definitely favours the Finns.
