Overview:

The Irish Guards were ordered to cover the western and southern approaches to Boulogne, with a platoon of #1 Company positioned in Outreau. Second Lieutenant Anthony Eardley-Wilmot had brought up two 37mm French guns to cover the main road into Boulogne and the coastal road. The German assault began after a short bombardment, led by two PzKs IIs with dismounted motorcycle infantry following. The lead tanks went up the main road where Lieutenant Eardley-Wilmot was waiting.

2023-04-10(A) Tuomo Lukkari vs Teemu Lukkari German win[Imported from ROAR]
2022-12-30(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best British winThe Germans suffered from bad morale checks. The 37's took out both tanks. The final German attack was broken at the 1-1/2 story building for the win.
2022-12-30(A) Dan Best vs Kermit Mullins British win
2022-02-22(D) Tom Rodwell vs Lee Hyde-Sellars British winA nice, straightforward little scenario which plays fast and fun. As others have already said, its small size makes it a little prone to being dicey though. The French 37s are surprisingly potent little AT guns, which combined with their ROF gives them the potential to dominate the battlefield. I was fortunate to take out one of the Pz IIs early on in the game and the luck continued to go against Lee when his remaining tank bogged and became immobile. Judicious skulking kept the British defenders largely intact, despite the early capture of a badly sited 4-5-8 and its LMG. This meant that Lee was forced into some relatively unfavourable CC and a penultimate turn rush forward by the Germans was necessary. DFF, SPF and three fortuitously successful FPF attempts by another 4-5-8 eviscerated the German attack and made a German victory all but impossible. On balance, luck rather than good tactics won the day for the British. Worth a play and good scenario for relative beginners to ASL.
