Overview:

Panzerjager Abteilung 88 was stationed on the hills near Kreckwitz. 1st Zug was on guard during a quiet early morning when in the distance they heard the unmistakable sound of a diesel engine, a Russian engine. Into view appeared eight T-34 tanks, followed by some supporting infantry. Nashorn 212 and 214 were the only tank destroyers in position to react to the Russian advance.

tournament scenarios.

This was over on turn 2. My TD obliterated Simon's T34s.

There is a bit of a trick to this one as the Russians. If you don't see
it, you are doomed. Simon didn't see it (and neither did I until our
post-game wrap up). He was doomed from the start.

An extremely dubious choice for a tournament. We were both glad
we chose to play friendlies.

2024-06-21(A) Andy Bagley vs Michael Urquhart German winI never stood much chance in this one after sending two of my T34s through the woods in H19 and H20, only to have both of them bog and subsequently immobilise - even the one with my armour leader! A third tank tried to run past the Nashorns on the hill and got shot, leaving me with a lone functioning tank. My infantry tried to push up the hill on the west side against stiff German opposition and I couldn't make sufficient progress to reach the victory area. I managed to get one of the Nashorns, but conceded when his Psk took out my last tank.
