Overview:

Bolshevik Partisans had started to make their presence known, and on August 1st, Bolshevik Partisans derailed a train. Some of those on board the train happened to be Japanese military and civilians. Captain Sudzuki was given the task to route out the Communists and teach them a lesson. Unbeknownst to the Japanese when they attacked, a small training element of the 22nd Regiment, 26th Infantry Division (Irkutsk) was training with and equipping the Bolsheviks.

2021-06-20(A) Jobbo Fett vs Hypnobeard Red Russian winI got diced extremely hard, with my opponent nailing almost every shot, and my Japanese troops failing almost every morale check they came across. We have some serious reservations about this scenario, namely the highly defendable terrain the Russians setup in, and the lack of tools available to the Japanese in attacking the objective. My least favorite in the FTC-4 pack so far...
2010-03-13(A) nathan wegener vs Mike C Japanese winA shootout in the style of old Western movies. Featuring Japanese cavalry blasting away on horseback and hurling Molotovs at retreating Reds. Two Japanese squads on horseback tore through the flank of the defence and ran rampant in the rear of the defence - flinging Molotovs and cavalry charging against a 9-1 leader, several wagons, and an INF gun. The demoralized Reds conceded shortly thereafter. Lots of options for setup and attack, a truly unique action in ASL.
