Overview:
The huge Pripyat Marshes of Ukraine provided a tremendous advantage to the partisan groups forming in the rear of the German spearheads moving towards Moscow. As a result, the Germans moved the Slovakian Security Division into the area on anti-partisan sweeps. On March 13th, the II/102nd Battalion was advancing from Kalka, intent on driving the partisans into supporting elements near Parecca. However, shortly after commencing their advance the Slovakians were brought to a halt by a large partisan force supported by artillery.Attacker: Partisan (Pristina Partisan Group)
