Overview:
After heavy fighting the night before, the Russians found themselves with a small bridgehead across the Spree and started to prepare to take their next objective. Dawn also brought fire from the Zoo FlaK Tower down on the guns and tanks firing over open sights into the German lines to support the follow up attack to expand the tiny bridgehead. While the Russians brought up more tanks and guns, the SS troops launched a counter attack to attempt to blow the bridge.
