Overview:
The 3rd Panzer Division’s drive on Mzensk was spearheaded by Kampfgruppe Eberbach. After destroying a large force of T-34 and KV tanks, Eberbach led advance elements on the final bound which would carry them over the bridge across the Susha River and into Mzensk.
